Steve holds the following designations: Wharton Business School, Certified Employee Benefits Specialist, CEBS, Certified Self-Funded Specialist, CSFS, Compensation Management Specialist, CMS, and Group Benefits Associate, GBA.  Steve is also a Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist, CHRP, through National Association of Health Underwriters with 22 years of consultative sales experience.

Stephanie Deiter, MBA, SHRM-SCP, SPHR

Stephanie Deiter, VP of Human Resources at the SKY Family YMCA, is an accomplished HR professional with more than 17 years of experience in the not for profit sector.  Stephanie specializes in talent management, leadership development, strategic planning and risk management. 

Prior to her service in non profit, Stephanie spent a number of years in retail
management. Overall, Stephanie has more than 30 years of customer service
and employee relations. Stephanie holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Social Science from University of South Florida and an MBA from Springfield College. She is certified through
the Human Resource Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human
Resources (SPHR) and Society of Human Resource Management Senior
Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
I am thankful for the opportunities that being a SHRA member has afforded
me to grow both personally and professionally. I am so excited to be a part of
the leadership team in 2018

With nearly 20 years of progressive human resources experience at the regional, division and corporate level, Renee is currently the Human Resources Director at Aviva, a not-for-profit, faith-based continuing care retirement community in Sarasota. Renee has held previous HR leadership and HRBP roles with Tidewell Hospice and Bright House Networks. 

Renee credits SHRA with positively influencing her career mobility and professional development and is proud to have volunteered with the chapter since 2008. Ms. Durham currently serves as Human Resources Coordinator at Johns Eastern Company, Inc. She
joined Johns Eastern in 2016 with considerable experience in employee relations, performance
management, resource development and community outreach.

Prior to joining Johns Eastern, Ms. Durham worked with Habitat for Humanity, Drug Free Manatee,
and the Office of Professional Standards for the School District of Manatee County.

Ms. Durham is a member of the Sarasota/Manatee Human Resource Association and currently
serves as Board Secretary. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management,
Manatee County Crime Stoppers, and AmeriCorps VISTA Alumni.

Anthony Gagliano

Anthony Gagliano is the Director of Business and Economic Development for CareerSource Suncoast. He oversees a team of 12 professionals focused on delivering value and services for businesses and veterans in Sarasota and Manatee counties. During his 7+ years at CareerSource Suncoast, Anthony streamlined employer grants while issuing more than $2M to local companies and implemented for-fee services, generating more than $50,000 in revenue in the past two years.

Prior to joining CareerSource Suncoast in 2009, Anthony spent 2 ½ years on staff at the East County Observer in Bradenton, Florida, covering sports and news for a weekly community newspaper.

Anthony is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism-News Editorial. His writing has appeared in the Tampa Bay Times, Tampa Tribune, Bradenton Herald, the Valdosta Daily Times and online at

She currently serves as an Advisory Board Member of the Foundation of Possibilities and

had the honor of serving on the Human Resource Association of Central Connecticut Board of Directors for 4 years, where she was their Vice President, from 2009 - 2011.

Dawn Laidlaw is the HR Coordinator for Willis Smith Construction in Lakewood Ranch. She attained her BA from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, and also obtained a Paralegal Certification from the Institute for Paralegal Training in Philadelphia. She was a Litigation Paralegal for 15 years, before transitioning into Human Resources. Dawn holds her SPHR certification as well as the SHRM-SCP certification.

Candice Smith Singh

Candice Smith-Singh is a passionate and dedicated Human Resources Professional. She currently serves as a Human Resource Generalist for Centerstone of Florida. Candice obtained her BA from York University in Toronto, Canada. With over 4 years of HR experience, she has served in the functional areas of Recruiting, Employee Relations, Training & Development, and more recently Benefits Administration, Wellness, and Workers Compensation. Candice holds her SHRM-CP certification from the Society of Human Resources Management.

"HR is an ever evolving field that continually strives to improve upon people experience. I am dedicated to serving others through responsiveness, fairness, efficiency, valuable customer service and feedback. As a result, I am always looking for opportunities for learning and growth, which SHRA has provided me. Angela is a certified Human Resource professional and currently transiting into a new role. She has over fifteen years of Human Resource experience.

Marie Graziosi, SPHR, SHRM - SCP

Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida

Marie is the Chief of Staff for Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, Inc., serving as the human resources professional; leadership and governance liaison to volunteer Board of Directors and board committees; and providing leadership and management oversight for the operational/administrative functions of the $3.5M nonprofit council serving over 10,000 girl/adult members in 10 counties annually. 

A member since 2006, Marie served as the president in 2017, president elect in 2016, and membership director in 2013 and 2014, and enjoyed volunteering in a variety of other roles where and when needed. As the immediate past president in 2018, Marie will serve as the Nominating Committee chair and looks forward to connecting members with SHRA volunteer positions. Celebrating 55 years in 2018, the mission of SHRA is to champion the highest professional standards of HR ethics and performance by providing ongoing professional development , resources, networking and support for its members and the community.
