Webster University's Sarasota/Manatee campus offers fully accredited master's degree programs in Counseling, Human Resources, Management and Leadership, and Business Administration for students who hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. All of our faculty are current practitioners in the fields in which they teach, resulting in state-of-the-art education for our students. Though Webster University's 90-year evolution has been dramatic, many constants remain. Webster's small classes provide students with the attention and interaction which encourage both academic growth and personal development. The University responds to the diverse needs of students by designing and structuring programs that serve the individual, and ensure that each student's education is a successful blend of theoretical and practical knowledge. The University maintains excellence in teaching as its primary purpose, and selects for its faculty those professionals who share in its belief that teaching is the foundation of a student-centered academic environment. http://www.webster.edu/sarasota

We offer an array of opportunities for our students including evening and weekend classes, accelerated 8-week terms, credit for prior learning, and study abroad opportunities. The PEL Program is geared for adult students (23 years or older) who are either returning to college or beginning the pursuit of their Bachelors Degree. PEL term courses are those taught in the classroom format during the evening or weekend, however many of our courses are available through directed study or independent study as well. PEL term lasts for eight weeks. Each course equals 3.5 semester hours credit. Classes typically meet once per week. There are five PEL terms in a year. The terms start in August, October, January, March and May/June. You can view a list of majors and more information at www.eckerd.edu/pel.
