Program Description/Learning objectives:

The Department of Labor (DOL) enforces the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), which sets basic minimum wage and overtime pay standards. Whether the DOL shows up due to an anonymous complaint or at random based on specific industry, they have the authority to audit an employer at anytime.

Therefore, It is important for HR professionals to know the DOL audit process and guidelines to follow so they can be well prepared in the event of an audit. In this session, attendees will learn:
